WC1 2/4

I baked and frosted one cake today. I am partial to a light pink cake, so I decided to ice the entire cake pale pink, then decorate with white borders. I ended up using the Burgandy brush stripes and they turned out wonderful. I think my icing is a bit too thick though, because some of the side pieces dried off and fell. I also tried out the pattern press with "C" shape and "Fleur-de-lys", especially with a more textured brush striped pattern, the outlines came out surprisingly delightful. I didn't have time to finish the center decoration, so I put in a bunny pick and some pastel balloons that I saved from Easter decorations. The end result?! viola! cake! =)
